All students enrolling in or continuing in vocational training are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). The USI is an Australian Government initiative that gives you access to your own training records and results online. All your vocational training results from 2015 onwards are accessible in one place.
What is a USI?
A USI works as a number made up of ten letters and numbers that:
- is free and easy to create
- gives you access to your training records and transcripts
- gives you access to a secure online record of all your recognised training and qualifications gained from different training organisations in Australia
- can be accessed online, anytime and anywhere
Through your USI online account you will be able to produce a comprehensive transcript of your training. This can be used when applying for a job, seeking a credit transfer or to demonstrate that you have the right pre-requisites when undertaking further training.
