WEA lllawarra commenced online training courses, in conjunction with Distance Learning Australia Pty Ltd in February2002.

This is a great asset to those who cannot attend a course or prefer to study at their own pace and time. Students must have access to a computer and the internet.

Unlike some 'on-line establishments working out of a Post Office Box, the WEA Illawarra has considerable assets and owns two centres in the Illawarra. Additionally you know who you are dealing with. Our staff are named up-front and you are advised of the name and qualifications of your trainer.

The On-line Courses are under the control of staff comprising Gareth McKeen Executive Director, Chris Jarrett MA, BCA Principal, Kerrie Smith, and Lesley Mortimer MA. Each has had a minimum experience of ten years in training and many have also lengthy experience in adult education. All are experienced in working with adults.
