Become a Member, support the WEA - and receive special offers and discounts!
WEA Members receive a discount of $7 off all non-accredited courses plus a 15% discount for certain courses. Members are also eligible to elect Directors to the Board of the WEA. There is no cost to apply to be a Member, application forms can be downloaded here.
Become a tutor
If you are a skilled and inspiring tutor (or have the potential to become one!) and you have a passion for teaching or you have a course that you feel may suit the WEA click here to contact WEA with an expression of interest to become a WEA tutor.
Print off the lesson plan template, fill it in as best you can and return to the WEA, or call WEA to discuss your ideas for a course.

WEA Clubs
WEA Illawarra support three student run clubs that operate under the auspices of the WEA. These clubs provide adult learning opportunities on an on-going basis with club members running the clubs and arranging the activities.
WEA Ramblers is an outdoor activities club primarily focused on bush walking, kayaking and cycling activities for club members. To view a list of Ramblers activities or to join the Ramblers click here.
WEA Film Society is dedicated to the enjoyment of films and discussion regarding cinematic aspects of international films. Most of the films are sourced from the National Film and TV Archive and the aim of the society is to show films from a range of countries. WEA Camcorder Club is primarily concerned with video production for personal use. The club meets on the first Friday of the month from 7pm and newcomers are welcome. To register for the club call WEA on 4226 1622
