English pre-training assessment interview
What is it for?
A trained assessor will assess your English skills so we can place you in a class that best suits your needs.
How long does it take?
Approximately one hour for AMEP participants, or half an hour for fee paying participants
What if I can’t come to the appointment?
If you ring the day before, WEA can reschedule the appointment time.
If you cancel on the day, students with a referral from Centrelink or Job Network will need to go back to the referring agency for another referral.
How will I know my level and what class I’m in?
The WEA will send you a letter telling you your class level, starting date and what to bring on the first day.
