Classes currently available in business, information technology and finance subjects. This method of study can be used for an individual topic or for a whole qualification. Classroom based
Face to face classroom training is suitable for those who prefer a traditional approach to study. WEA offers a range of classroom based classes. Details for each course are listed in the business training section click here.
Online
Do you have difficulty attending scheduled classes due to work or family commitments? Online training is for you! This method of delivery provides easy access to training, in your own time, at your own pace, from anywhere you have web access. With WEA Illawarra’s Online Vocational Training you still work with a tutor one-to-one but you chose the pace of your study.
Once you have enrolled you will receive an access password to enable you to start your course straight away.
What will I need?
To access online courses you need your own computer and basic computer skills.

Distance learning
WEA offers a select number of courses using the traditional correspondence method. This course in Medical and Legal Terminology, Medical Reception and Business Administration can be completed using a workbook with phone and email contact with your tutor.
Blended delivery/work based
For employers who need their staff trained on the job or in their workplace -WEA can customise a training program unique to your needs. These programs are flexible and can use combinations of on the job, classroom, online and distance methods to create a blended delivery that is suitable to both you and your staff.
