Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF)
free professional development workshops
Professional development workshops on the Australian Core Skills Framework (and discussion of proposed changes to the yet to be released revised document) will be available from November 2011 to June 2013. Face to face workshops will be conducted in all capital cities and at a number of larger regional centres across Australia. Online ACSF training will also be available in 2012 for remote rural participants.
Who will benefit from the training?
- Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) specialists
- Mainstream Vocational Education and Training (VET) practitioners
What will be covered?
- An overview of the revised ACSF
- The structure and layout of the ACSF
- Use of the ACSF with curriculum and Training Packages
- The ACSF and assessment of adult literacy
The workshops will provide participants with opportunities to use the ACSF in realistic scenarios appropriate to their needs.
