WEA Illawarra has received funding from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) under the Investing in Community Education and Training program to build a new training facility in Auburn Street next to the existing WEA building. The funding will also see an external upgrade to the existing WEA building plus the installation of a lift that will provide access to both the existing building and the new facility.
